I'm so happy you found us. I'm the owner of Blessings from Birth and mother to a wonderful four year old boy. I have always had a passion for mom's & babies since a young age and then shortly after my son was born I found my way into doula work and I wouldn't change it for the world. I offer support to families in the postpartum period from the first few hours in the hospital all the way to toddlerhood. After having an isolated postpartum journey myself (thanks to Covid), I am a strong believer in mothering the mother, postpartum mental health and accepting it does take a village to raise these little humans.

Certified Postpartum Doula

Hi Dez here! I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula and owner of DoulawithDez, I love all things that come with birth and postpartum and love supporting all stages of motherhood from conception to postpartum! I believe your body was made to grow, birth and nurture a baby and for you to feel supported well into parenthood. I became a doula from my own birth and postpartum journey’s, as in my first birth of my son I felt very taken advantage of and didn’t know I could advocate for myself and into that postpartum period I had no support and had experienced significant postpartum anxiety and depression. Being able to support moms through these times is so important to me, so you feel as though you aren’t doing it alone. I can’t wait to join Emma in supporting families in postpartum.
